Best Choclate Crackles

Crackles are a popular dessert/snack in Australia. Try these and see if you can find coconut fat - it adds to the flavor.
Ingredients:
4 cups puffed rice cereal
1 ½ cups of icing sugar (powdered sugar)
1 cup of desiccated coconut
250 grams of chopped Copha*
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
Note: Copha is solid fat that is derived from solidified coconut oil. It adds flavor to the crackles. Crisco is flavorless and is not a good substitute. You can try butter as a substitute if you can't get Copha. Other brands of coconut fat are Kremelta, Végétaline, and Palmin (check in specialty stores or deli).
How to make them:
Mix together the cereal, icing sugar, cocoa and coconut in a large bowl. Melt the Copha (or butter) slowly in a saucepan on low heat (make sure you get an adult to help you with this bit!). Once it has melted, let it cool down slightly.
Next add the Copha to the other mixture and stir until it is well combined. Then spoon out the mixture into patty cases (muffin cups) and stick them in the fridge. Once they have become firm, pull them out and share them around! Yummo!
You can also add sprinkles or any candies as a topping.
