Chocolate Chip Cookie Mousse Cup
The idea for this recipe came from seeing a cupcake in a brown wrapper. I decided to make my own brown wrapper out of chocolate. Then I was shopping and I saw cookie dough in the refrigerator section and thought that it would taste good, but it is not smart to eat raw cookie dough, so I made some creamy mousse.
Ingredients:
1 1.5-ounce package instant vanilla pudding
1 cup cold milk
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup frozen whipped topping, defrosted (1/2 small tub)
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
1 cup chocolate pieces (chips or wafer melts)
Directions:
1. Mix milk with pudding mix. Refrigerate for 5 minutes.
2. Stir in brown sugar.
3. Fold in whipped topping and mini chocolate chips.
4. Place in refrigerator.
5. Melt chocolate in microwave or in a double boiler.
6. Using the back of a spoon, or a small, clean paintbrush, "paint" the inside of 4 cupcake wrappers. Bring chocolate up to the edge of the wrappers.
7. Refrigerate chocolate wrappers for 15 minutes.
8. Peel cupcake wrappers from chocolate.
9. Place mousse in chocolate cups and garnish with a few mini chips.
Refrigerate for up to two days. Serve cold.
