Hello my name is Danielle and its nearly my mums birthday and i need to make a simple chocolate cake for her but i cant find any simple and easy to make ones and also simple ingredients please help me????

Please help, I need and icing for all my cookies, cakes and cupcakes

Easy Chocolate Cake

Hey Dannielle,

Here is a really easy chocolate cake recipe that you can try. You can serve it with icing spread on top or you can just sprinkle some sifted powdered sugar on top. Hope your mum likes it! :)

1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg

Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Mix remaining ingredients together in a separate bowl. Fold into dry ingredients and stir until mixed well.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350F (180C) degrees for about 1/2 an hour or until a skewer comes out clean.
