Cheezie Noodles
3 cups of noodles
2 cups of water
2 tablespoons butter
1 block of cheese
1/3 to 1/2 cup of milk
1 cup parmasean cheese
1 cup Cheez Whiz
Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Place noodles in a pot and cook according to instructions.
After noodles are done, drain, and add all the rest of the ingredients and stir. Serve while hot.

Chinese Long Soup
1/2 head of small cabbage (or Chinese cabbage)
2 tablespoons oil
1 pound lean pork, thinly sliced
8 cups chicken broth
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
2 packages Chinese style minute noodles
6 green onions, thinly sliced
Cut out core of cabbage and discard. Shred cabbage. Heat oil in wok or skillet over medium high heat. Add shredded cabbage and pork strips. Stir fry for about 5 minutes until pork is no longer pink.
Add chicken broth, soy sauce, and ginger and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occassionally. Then add onions and noodles. Cook for about 3 minutes until noodles are done. Serve hot in large bowls. Eat with spoon and chop sticks. Add some Chinese hot sauce for fun.
Easy Chicken Noodle Soup
2 pounds chicken drumsticks
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 carrots, chopped
2 sticks celery, chopped
1 package frozen egg noodles
salt and pepper to taste
Fill large pot about two thirds full with water. Add chicken, onion, and garlic. Bring to a boil, then cover and cook on low heat for 45 minutes.
Take chicken out of the pot and remove from the bone. Cut chicken into pieces and return to pot. Add carrots, celery, and egg noodles to pot. Cook for 8 minutes until noodles are done. Add salt and pepper to taste. (I like to add a touch of fish sauce or soy sauce for flavor.)
Serve to hungry children on a cold day...really warms them up.
Yummy Potato Noodles
2 pounds potatoes
6 ounces plain flour
2 tablespoons potato flour
2 eggs
salt to taste
butter
Peel potatoes, boil in a large pot until soft, then mash. In a large bowl mix together the mashed potatoes, flour, potato flour, and eggs. Add salt to taste (about 2 to 3 teaspoons).
Use your hands to make a dough, then put the dough on a clean surface sprinkled with flour. Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough. Cut of long strips to make noodles.
Next, boil water in a pot and add noodles until cooked (about 5 to 7 minutes). Drain noodles and put them in a serving bowl.
Last, melt butter and pour over noodles. Stir well. Then eat and enjoy these yummy potato noodles.
Minute Noodles
2 packages minute noodles
1 cup frozen corn or peas
1 can tuna, drained
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Cook minute noodles according to package instructions, adding frozen corn or peas while the noodles are cooking. Then add soy sauce to taste and stir in tuna.
Serve while hot in bowls.
This is a quick and easy hot meal when you're in a rush.
Chicken For a Crowd
1 large whole chicken, boiled or baked
3 cups chicken broth or 1 can chicken broth
1 package thick home style egg noodles
1 large block Velveeta cheese, grated
2 cans cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
1 cup bread crumbs
Boil noodles in chicken broth. Remove chicken from bone and chop. Add chopped chicken, grated cheese, and soup to the noodles and broth and stir. Pour into a 9 X 13 inch casserole dish. Top with bread crumbs. Cover with foil. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 350F degrees (175C degrees).
Serve with a green vegetable or green salad or top with freshly chopped parsley.
