Whole Grain English Muffin Pizzas

If at home, children can decorate and design their own mini pizzas. If packing for school, they can be pre-cooked and eaten cold or heated in a microwave.


whole grain English muffins
pizza sauce (or chili sauce for a kick)
child's favorite type of cheese, grated
child's favorite toppings

Cut English muffin in half. Spread pizza sauce (or chili sauce). Add shredded cheese. Add toppings such as olives, mushrooms, ham, pineapple chunks, salami, bell peppers, or anything your child likes that is healthy. Heat in the toaster oven.
